Rare Disease Day $500 Gift Card Giveaway sponsored by Plasma Services Group
Giveaway entry is now closed.
See details below to join us online at 3 PM ET.

Step 1

Enter the giveaway by submitting your interest in at-home (virtual) volunteer opportunities.

Submit your sincere interest in empowering at-home (virtual) volunteer opportunities with Myositis Support and Understanding (MSU) for a chance to win a $500 gift card giveaway, furnished by Plasma Services Group (PSG), and MSU T-shirts. See the terms below.

Giveaway entry closed Friday, February 28, 2020, at 11:59 PM ET. But, we encourage you to submit your volunteer interest!

Giveaways are available to residents of the USA who submit sincere interest in volunteering with MSU using our volunteer form. No purchase necessary. One (1) entry per person. Current active MSU volunteers will receive two (2) entries. One (1) random winner, selected by drawing, will receive a $500 gift card furnished by Plasma Services Group (PSG). Up to twenty (20) random winners, selected by drawing, will receive an MSU T-shirt; styles and sizes are limited. Winners will be announced live on Rare Disease Day, February 29th at 3 PM ET, during the MSU/PSG webinar, where you can also learn more about paid opportunities to donate plasma for myositis medical research. Your personal information will not be shared with Plasma Services Group (PSG) or any other third party. Winners will also be notified by email.

Step 2

Learn more about Plasma Services Group (PSG)

Last year we hosted PSG for a live and comprehensive presentation about their myositis patient plasma donation program. The video is available and we encourage you to check it out to learn more about the program, including what your plasma donation is used for, discussion about the research, and details of the benefits to myositis patients who donate plasma.

This is not whole blood donation. Plasma donated is used for research and for making diagnostic test kits. It is not used in human products, like IVIG.

Step 3

Join us on Rare Disease Day, Saturday, February 29th at 3 PM ET for a live video Q&A with PSG and where giveaway winners will be announced live.

Join us for a live video Q&A session with PSG, who will provide a brief overview of the myositis plasma donation program where you can earn up to $200 per plasma donation. The plasma collected is used for myositis research and in the making of diagnostic test kits, a critical tool in helping to diagnose many forms of myositis.

This is an empowering opportunity for myositis patients to be a part of research.

We will announce the winners of the giveaways live during this session! Winners will also be notified by email.

All are welcome to attend, even if you do not enter the giveaway.
