“Be” A Poem
For today’s Caregiver Monday, we want to share with you a poem by a patient with Myositis. It has such inspiration when this illness can bring us down. For caregivers, this is what you do for us!

Be the one that makes someone smile
even if it is just for a little while.
Be the one to make their day
show them kindness in every way.
Be the one who lends a hand.
Be the one who helps them stand.
Be the one that lends an ear
to help wipe away their fears.
Be the one that holds them tight
always be there day or night.
Be the one to show them you care
across the miles from here to there.
Be the one who keeps them strong
In your heart is where they belong.
I will always be the one, my friend,
Will be here beside you till the very end!
