The Grieving Project: Creatively Grieving Our Chronic Illnesses Workshop

Join award-winning artist Lisa Sniderman (Aoede), who has struggled with dermatomyositis for more than 13 years while creating to heal, as she leads a  second workshop for MSU, using music from her audiobook, The Grieving Project, and other expressive arts (movement, journaling, drawing, poetry) to help us move through grief.

This free workshop will be focused on grieving our losses, changes, and transformations around our chronic illness (myositis). Patients and caregivers are welcome. No prior experience required!

All attendees who participate will receive a FREE CD of The Grieving Project after the workshop!

Optional items to bring with you

You are not required to bring anything with you. However, here are a couple of tips that might help you make the most of the workshop.

  • Have a notebook with you, and colored pencils if you have them, to draw and express yourself on paper.
  • Or, open a program on your computer that you are comfortable using to write/draw while also having Zoom open.

If you have not yet downloaded the Zoom app, it is free and available for all devices – computers, smartphones, tablets, etc.
